Remind Yourself of How Amazing You Truly Are

How are you? 

No, really how are you? If you’ve been feeling a little off lately you’re not alone. There’s a lot happening in our lives at any given moment and to think that we could be happy, secure and content all the time is just not realistic. 

Sometimes we need a reset, or have a little talk with ourselves. I know it sounds simple, maybe even silly. But we are talking to ourselves all day long and with a little more awareness we can pay more attention to what we say to ourselves. And that can shift not only how we feel but how we see things.

What we say to ourselves really matters. There’s enough happening in our external world to challenge us, so we can’t create a negative environment within our internal world too. Once we become aware of our thoughts, we can then choose to shift our thinking to something more positive and productive. 

Our thoughts are rooted in our beliefs. So if we truly want to change that negative self talk to something much more positive, we have to examine our beliefs because those beliefs become the rules we live by. 

One simple way to reprogram our thoughts are affirmations. An affirmation is a statement declared to be true written or said aloud to confirm and declare these truths for ourselves. These mantras when said repeatedly will light a spark and build our self confidence.

Affirmations can remind us of how remarkable we truly are. Adding positive affirmations to your daily routine can help improve mental health, boost self-esteem and promote overall wellness.  

The world around us with all its challenges and changes can leave us questioning a lot.  Positive affirmations are a powerful way to level out our emotions and keep our focus on who we really are in this universe ...nothing short of amazing and an unrepeatable miracle.

The following affirmations are written to support you at your inner core and remind you of your strength, capability and how much you are loved and supported by the Universe. 

When you’re ready and in a safe space take some time to practice these affirmations and begin with a deep breath. Breathe in through your nose and exhale through your mouth slowly. Repeat two more times. 

Then read the statements below out loud or to yourself and let the words heal whatever hurt or stress you might be feeling.  Let your energy rise to meet the meaning of each statement as you accept it as your truth. 

Doing this for a moment or two each day, any time during the day will change your outlook instantly.

  • My mind is open, my heart is resilient and I am evolving into my best self.
